It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Prievidza. They outrebounded Prievidza 34-23 including 22 on the defensive glass. American-Liberian point guard Jaytornah Wisseh (185-88, college: LIU Brooklyn) answered with a double-double by scoring 23 points, 5 rebounds and 11 assists and Jamaican-British forward Ryan Martin (206-91, college: Tenn Tech) added 16 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Prievidza. Both teams had five players each who scored in double figures. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for Kosice. They maintain third place with 11-4 record having just one point less than leader Inter Bratislava. Prievidza at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. Kosice will play against league's leader Inter Bratislava at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Prievidza will play against Nova Ves (#10) and hopes to get back on the winning track.
