Al Riyadi made 17-of-21 charity shots (81.0 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of the former international point guard Wael Arakji (194-94) who helped to win the game recording 21 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. The former international swingman Jean Abdel-Nour (198-83) contributed with 17 points and 9 rebounds for the winners. Al Riyadi's coach Ahmad Farran allowed to play the deep bench players in such tough game. American guard Demarius Bolds (193-84, college: Missouri Western) answered with 22 points and 8 rebounds and the other American import power forward Darian Townes (208-84) added 22 points and 9 rebounds in the effort for Al Moutahed. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with Homenetmen and Champville. Al Moutahed at the other side keeps the fifth place with three games lost. They share the position with Beirut Club. Al Riyadi will play against Byblos (#8) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Moutahed will play against the league's leader Homenetmen and hopes to get back on the winning track.
