There was a minor upset when one of their biggest challengers Team Crema (7-3) was crushed at home by sixth ranked Vicenza (7-3) 65-46 on Sunday. Vicenza dominated down low during the game scoring 44 of its points in the paint compared to Team Crema's 20. Bosnian Melisa Brcaninovic (190-99, agency: BeoBasket) fired a double-double by scoring 17 points and 10 rebounds for the winners. Forward Lucia Ferri (182-85) chipped in 10 points and 6 rebounds. Four Vicenza players scored in double figures. Guard Norma Rizzi (172-93) produced 10 points and power forward Alice Nori (182-93) added 5 points and 8 rebounds respectively for lost side. Team Crema's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win. Vicenza moved-up to fourth place in A2. Vicenza will face Cagliari CUS (#13) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Team Crema will play against Bolzano (#11) and hope to win that game.
