Fifth ranked Templeogue (8-4) crushed at home 10th ranked DCU Saints (4-8) by 17 points 92-75, which is the biggest margin this round. Strangely DCU Saints outrebounded Templeogue 63-35 including a 46-26 advantage in defensive rebounds. Their players were unselfish on offense dishing 26 assists. Worth to mention a great performance of international point guard Stephen James (182-92) who helped to win the game recording 11 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals. The former international center Jason Killeen (211-85, college: Augusta) contributed with 15 points and 5 rebounds for the winners. Five Templeogue players scored in double figures. American center Dee Proby (208-88, college: Oklahoma City) answered with a double-double by scoring 34 points (!!!), 29 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international center Martins Provizors (202-87) added 9 points and 10 rebounds in the effort for DCU Saints. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Templeogue moved-up to second place, which they share with 3 other teams. DCU Saints at the other side keep the tenth position with eight games lost. Templeogue's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Dublin Eanna.
