Important game to mention about took place in Campli. Second ranked Campli (7-4) saved a 1-point victory at home edging 10th ranked Giulianova (5-6) 72-71 on Sunday evening. Host team only slightly avoided a big embarassment. Campli forced 24 Giulianova turnovers. Power forward Gianluca Di-Carmine (200-86) contributed with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 4 assists for the winners. Four Campli players scored in double figures. Forward Jacopo Preti (200-94) answered with 28 points and Nicola Bastone (196-92) added 10 points in the effort for Giulianova. Despite that victory Campli went down to third position (B) due to points difference. Giulianova at the other side dropped to the eighth place with six games lost. They share the position with 4 other teams. Campli will play against Bisceglie (#12) on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Giulianova will play against Pescara (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
