Bottom-ranked Dutch Royal Eagles is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their fifth consecutive match to eighth ranked Latvian Vega 1 (3-2) 95-82 on Sunday evening. Vega 1 looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. It was an exceptional evening for Belarusian center Maryna Ivashchanka (190-93) who led the winners and scored 25 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Ilze Jakobsone (168-94) accounted for 19 points and 7 assists (on 8-of-10 shooting from the field) for the winning side. Four Vega 1 players scored in double figures. Guard Marlou De-Kleijn (183-92) came up with 23 points and 5 rebounds and guard Yfke Hoek (175-98) added 15 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists (made all of her eight free throws) respectively for Royal Eagles in the defeat. Vega 1 have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Lulea Basket and Kibirkstis. Loser Royal Eagles still closes the standings with five games lost. They share the position with Gorizont.
