Regular Season Round 9: Tokyo Big Blue - Aisin AW 62-81

There was no surprise when bottom-ranked Tokyo Big Blue (0-6) was crushed at home by sixth ranked Aisin AW (3-3) 81-62 on Sunday. The best player for the winners was center Eve Nyokozera (199-93) who had a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds. Point guard Watanabe Watanabe (181-89) chipped in 14 points and 4 assists. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Bryan Simpson (197-84) who recorded a double-double by scoring 21 points and 17 rebounds and point guard Kota Goto (176-94) added 11 points respectively. Both coaches allowed to play bench players saving starting five for next games. Aisin AW moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Tokyo Excel. Tokyo Big Blue lost their sixth game in a row. They still close the standings with six games lost. Aisin AW will face Tokyo Excel. (#6) on the road in the next round.
