Bottom-ranked Verviers-Pep. managed to get a second victory, breaking the two-game losing streak. This time newly promoted Verviers-Pep. edged ninth-ranked B.Willebroek 95-93. Verviers-Pep. forced 23 B.Willebroek turnovers. They brought some defensive toughness making 7 blocks. B.Willebroek was plagued by 25 personal fouls down the stretch. Newly promoted Verviers-Pep. maintains twelfth position with 2-10 record. B.Willebroek lost seventh consecutive game. B.Willebroek at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the tenth place with nine games lost. They share the position with Laarne. Verviers-Pep. will play against league's second-placed Sint Kateline Waver in Sint Katelijne in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. B.Willebroek will play at home against Belfius Namur (#4) where they are definitely not considered as a favorite in this game either.
