Everything went according to plan when seventh ranked Orasi Ravenna (6-4) beat at home 9th ranked Tezenis Verona (4-6) 74-65 on Sunday. They outrebounded Tezenis Verona 37-24 including a 28-16 advantage in defensive rebounds. American guard Rayvonte Rice (193-92, college: Illinois) scored 16 points and 6 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the former international point guard Jacopo Giachetti (190-83) chipped in 14 points and 6 assists during the contest. Five Orasi Ravenna players scored in double figures. At the losing side American point guard Phil Greene-IV (187-92, college: St.John's) responded with 20 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and the former international forward Mattia Udom (200-93) scored 10 points and 9 rebounds. Both coaches tested many bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Orasi Ravenna moved-up to sixth place in A2. Loser Tezenis Verona dropped to the twelfth position with six games lost. Orasi Ravenna will face league's second-placed Montegrano in Montenegrano in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Tezenis Verona will play at home against Kleb Ferrara (#8) and hope to win that game.
