Regular Season Round 10: TuNMKY - HBA-Marsky 106-74

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked HBA-Marsky (9-2) in Turun on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by second ranked TuNMKY (8-2) 106-74. It may be a crucial game in the contest for the top position in Division. TuNMKY shot the lights out from three sinking 16 long-distance shots on high 51.6 percentage. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 33 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by HBA-Marsky's players. Center Mikael Sandberg (210-91) had a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and guard Eero Innamaa (188-98) chipped in 19 points and 9 assists during the contest. Five TuNMKY players scored in double figures. At the losing side forward Mikael Jantunen (203-0) responded with 20 points and 7 rebounds and Andre Gustavson (192-99) scored 13 points and 4 assists. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TuNMKY maintains second position in Division with 8-2 record behind leader HBA-Marsky. HBA-Marsky at the other side still keeps top place with two games lost. TuNMKY will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. HBA-Marsky will play on the road against Forssan Koripojat and is hoping to win this game.
