Very expected game in Kariya where 9th ranked Aishin Wings (3-11) were defeated by third ranked Denso Iris (11-3) 69-51 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Denso Iris. Aishin Wings was better in fourth quarter 15-13. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding Aishin Wings to just 6 points in first quarter. The former international power forward Maki Takada (183-89) had a double-double by scoring 12 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and center Himawari Akaho (181-98) chipped in 11 points and 9 rebounds during the contest.
