The game with biggest result difference took place in Sao Paulo. Local Pinheiros (4-0) outscored 10th ranked Campo Mourao (2-6) 80-51. Center Ralfi Ansaloni (211-87) notched 17 points and 9 rebounds (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) to lead the effort and American guard Desmond Holloway (191-90, college: Co.Carolina) supported him with 21 points. Even 12 points and 5 rebounds by forward Cesar Araujo (201-81) did not help to save the game for Campo Mourao. The former international Marcio Dornelles (196-75) added 15 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Pinheiros have a solid four-game winning streak. They maintain third position with 4-0 record behind leader Mogi. Campo Mourao at the other side keeps the tenth place with six games lost. Pinheiros' next round opponent will be Caxias do Sul (#7) on the road.
