Regular Season Round 12: Gries/Oberhoffen - ALS Basket 92-62

Very expected game in Bischwiller where 10th ranked ALS Basket (5-7) was rolled over by second ranked Gries/Oberhoffen (9-2) 92-62 on Tuesday. Gries/Oberhoffen dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to ALS Basket's 34. Gries/Oberhoffen forced 21 ALS Basket turnovers. The best player for the winners was guard Oumarou Sylla (185-92) who scored 19 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists. Spanish forward Asier Zengotitabengoa (201-88) chipped in 19 points. Five Gries/Oberhoffen players scored in double figures. Gries/Oberhoffen's coach Ludovic Pouillart felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was forward Kamel Ammour (203-91, agency: Octagon Europe) who recorded 20 points and 6 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field) and American point guard Brandon Clark (183-93, college: Santa Clara) added 17 points respectively. Gries/Oberhoffen maintains second position with 9-2 record having four points less than leader Saint Vallier. Loser ALS Basket dropped to the ninth place with seven games lost. Gries/Oberhoffen will face bottom-ranked CFBB (#18) in Paris in the next round which should be another easy win for them. ALS Basket will play at home against GET Vosges (#16) and hope to win that game.
