Regular Season Round 13: Al-Muharraq - Al-Hala 79-84

We could consider it a predictable result in the game between close teams when fifth ranked Al-Hala (8-4) beat 4th placed Al-Muharraq (8-3) in Al Muharraq 84-79. They outrebounded Al-Muharraq 55-38 including 16 on the offensive glass. Al-Muharraq was plagued by 26 personal fouls down the stretch. American-Lebanese center Loren Woods (218-78, college: Arizona) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 33 points (!!!), 30 rebounds and 4 blocks (on 14-of-18 shooting from the field) for the winners and Hussain Salman chipped in 17 points and 5 assists. At the losing side Ahmed Aldurazi responded with 20 points and 5 rebounds and Mohamed Nasser scored 21 points and 7 rebounds. Five Al-Hala and four Al-Muharraq players scored in double figures. Al-Muharraq's coach Ivan Jeremic rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Al-Hala maintains fifth place with 8-4 record. Al-Muharraq at the other side keeps the fourth position with three games lost.
