The game with biggest result difference took place in Stjarnan. Local Stjarnan (7-5) outscored 7th ranked Snaefell (5-7) 75-53. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Snaefell. The winners were led by American guard Danielle Rodriguez (178-93, college: Utah) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 29 points, 10 rebounds and 9 assists (went 8 for 8 at the free throw line) and the former international center Ragna Brynjarsdottir (188-90) supported her with 15 points and 11 rebounds. Coach Petur Sigurdsson's team controlled all game and the coach could let to play all 12 players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Even a double-double of 30 points and 18 rebounds by American swingman Kristen McCarthy (180-90, college: Temple) did not help to save the game for Snaefell. International forward Berglind Gunnarsdottir (175-93) added 11 points and 5 rebounds. Stjarnan moved-up to third place, which they share with Haukar. Snaefell at the other side keeps the seventh position with seven games lost. Stjarnan's next round opponent will be Skallagrimur (#6) in Borganes. Snaefell will play on the road against the league's leader Valur in Reykjavik and hope to win that game.
