Regular Season Round 8: Ragusa - Medvescak 43-80

Bottom-ranked Ragusa is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to tenth ranked ZKK Medvescak (4-4) 80-43. ZKK Medvescak forced 24 Ragusa turnovers. 24 personal fouls committed by Ragusa helped opponents get some easy free throw opportunities. The best player for the winners was center Patricia Bura (188-96) who scored 16 points and 9 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Guard Iva Borovic (170-88) chipped in 20 points (was perfect 7-for-7 from the free throw line). Forward Josipa Zovko (186-90) produced 17 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Ana Haklicka (172-1) added 5 points respectively for the hosts. Defending Croatian champion maintains tenth position in B with 4-4 record. Ragusa at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. ZKK Medvescak's next round opponent will be higher ranked Montana 2003 (#9) at home and it may be quite challenging game. Ragusa will play against ZKK Kraljevo and looks forward to get finally their first victory.
