Regular Season Round 8: Tadamon - Sagesse 93-114

Bottom-ranked Tadamon is still unable to win any game. This time they could not use their home court advantage losing their eighth consecutive match to fourth ranked Sagesse (6-2) 114-93. Sagesse players were unselfish on offense dishing 28 assists comparing to just 14 passes made by Tadamon's players. The best player for the winners was the former international Jasmon Youngblood (195-84, college: Kent St.) who scored 24 points, 5 rebounds and 6 assists. International point guard Ali Mezher (182-94) chipped in a double-double by scoring 14 points, 16 assists and 4 steals (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Five Sagesse players scored in double figures. Sagesse's coach Fuad Abou Chakra felt very confident that he used 11 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) produced 44 points (!!!), 5 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Gerard Hadidian (201-95, college: Lake Land CC) added 23 points and 12 rebounds respectively for the hosts. Sagesse have a solid four-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Champville. Tadamon at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Sagesse's next round opponent will be Champville (#3) in Dik El Mehdi, which may be the game of the day. Tadamon's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Zouk to the arena Louaize.
