Regular Season Round 11: Basket Esch - Amicale 75-93

The most interesting game of round 11 in the Total League was a home defeat of second-ranked Basket Esch (8-3) by first ranked Amicale (9-2) who outscored them by 18 points 93-75 in the game for the first place. It was a key game for the top position in the league. It was a great evening for American forward Shavon Coleman (196-92, college: LSU, agency: Court Side) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 18 rebounds. The former international power forward Billy McDaniel (199-84, college: Ark.-Monticello) helped adding 26 points and 6 rebounds. American power forward Clancy Rugg (203-91, college: Vermont, agency: Court Side) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists and Haitian-American guard Eniel Polynice (196-88, college: Seton Hall) produced a double-double by scoring 14 points, 17 rebounds and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Basket Esch's coach Sylvain Lautie rotated ten players seeing no chance for a win. Amicale have an impressive series of six victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 9-2 record. Basket Esch at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Amicale are looking forward to face Residence (#7) in Bereldange in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Basket Esch will play on the road against Heffingen (#10) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
