Regular Season Round 10: BC Lulea - Uppsala 82-69

Basketligan top team - BC Lulea (8-2) managed to deliver another win. This time they beat eighth ranked Uppsala Basket (2-8) 82-69. Canadian forward Yannick Anzuluni (205-87, college: Houghton) notched a double-double by scoring 13 points and 13 rebounds to lead the effort and forward Denzel Andersson (203-96) supported him with 17 points and 5 rebounds (on 7-of-9 shooting from the field). Four BC Lulea players scored in double figures. Even 19 points, 7 rebounds and 6 assists by the former international Viktor Gaddefors (201-92) did not help to save the game for Uppsala Basket. Swingman Axel Nordstrom (193-91, agency: Dynamics Global Management) added 12 points and 14 rebounds for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. BC Lulea have an impressive five-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-2 record. Uppsala Basket at the other side stay at the bottom place with eight games lost. They share the position with Nassjo. BC Lulea will play against Umea (#6) on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Uppsala Basket will play against KFUM Jamtland and hopes to get back on the winning track.
