Regular Season Round 8: Le Havre - Vichy Clermont 69-94

The game between 12th ranked STB Le Havre (2-5) and eighth ranked JA Vichy (5-3) in Le Havre on Friday ended with biggest points difference. Guests from Vichy outscored STB Le Havre 94-69. The game was mostly controlled by JA Vichy. STB Le Havre was better in third quarter 21-20. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Five JA Vichy players scored in double figures. JA Vichy's coach Guillaume Vizade felt very confident that he used 10 players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Swingman Rudy Jomby (196-88) replied with 14 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and American center Ryan Rhoomes (203-92, college: Fordham, agency: Duran International) added 18 points (perfect from the field making all seven shots !!!) in the effort for STB Le Havre. JA Vichy have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to fourth place, which they share with 4 other teams. Loser STB Le Havre dropped to the thirteenth position with five games lost. JA Vichy will face Provence Basket (#9) in Fos-sur-Mer in the next round where they are favorite. STB Le Havre will play on the road against Aix-Maurienne (#14) in Aix-les-Bains and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
