Regular Season Round 13: Olginate - Faenza 66-76

No shocking result in a game when sixth ranked Faenza (8-5) won against on the road 8th ranked Olginate (6-7) 76-66 on Saturday. Point guard Mattia Venucci (188-90) stepped up and scored 20 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and swingman Lorenzo Brighi (195-94) chipped in 15 points and 6 rebounds. At the losing side power forward Marco Tagliabue (206-86) responded with 22 points and 6 rebounds and power forward Andrea Bassani (198-89) scored 9 points and 10 rebounds. Faenza have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to fifth place in B, which they share with Vicenza. Newly promoted Olginate keeps the eighth position with seven games lost. Faenza will face Desio (#10) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Olginate will play against Padova and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
