No shocking result in a game when second ranked Saitama Broncos (7-1) crushed at home 7th ranked Kagoshima (3-7) 110-63 on Saturday. They outrebounded Kagoshima 50-34 including a 42-23 advantage in defensive rebounds. Saitama Broncos shot the lights out from three sinking 20 long-distance shots on high 51.3 percentage. Quite impressive performance for point guard Masaya Ueda (177-93) who helped to win the game recording 22 points and 7 rebounds. Senegalese forward Ibrahima Thomas (213-87, college: Cincinnati) contributed with 18 points and 6 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field) for the winners. American forward Darnell Martin (198-91, college: CS Dominguez H.) replied with 23 points and 9 rebounds and Canadian forward Bikramjit Gill (201-92, college: Ball St.) added 12 points in the effort for Kagoshima. Since the result was very predictable, it gave the chance for the coaches to test many bench players and allowed the starting five to get some rest. Saitama Broncos have a solid four-game winning streak. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Tokyo HT. Kagoshima lost third consecutive game. They keep the seventh place with seven games lost. Saitama Broncos will face league's second-placed Tokyo HT on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week.
