Regular Season Round 15: Biofarm PZN - Notec Inowr. 57-61

An interesting game took place in Poznan where higher ranked Biofarm PZN (6-7) was upset on its own court by sixteenth ranked Notec Inowr. (3-11) 61-57. They made 20-of-24 charity shots (83.3 percent) during the game. It was a good game for center Lukasz Paul (205-89) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 14 points and 11 rebounds (went 10 for 10 at the free throw line !!!). Swingman Grzegorz Malecki (195-84, agency: Promotex) contributed with 16 points and 6 rebounds for the winners. Forward Filip Struski (200-94) answered with 14 points and 8 rebounds and point guard Piotr Wieloch (182-94) added 8 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists in the effort for Biofarm PZN. Biofarm PZN's coach Przemyslaw Szurek rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Notec Inowr. moved-up to fifteenth place, which they share with Nysa Klodzko. Biofarm PZN at the other side dropped to the ninth position with seven games lost. Notec Inowr.'s next round opponent will be higher ranked SKK Siedlce (#14) at home and it will be quite challenging to get another victory.
