Rather predictable result when first ranked Akita Happinets (18-2) defeated on the road 5th ranked Aomori Watts (4-16) 67-61 on Saturday. Akita Happinets forced 24 Aomori Watts turnovers. American forward Toarlyn Fitzpatrick (203-89, college: S.Florida) stepped up with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 10 rebounds for the winners and international guard Shigehiro Taguchi (184-90) chipped in 16 points. The best for the losing side was guard Daichi Shimoyama (181-89) with 22 points and 5 rebounds and American forward Joe Burton (201-90, college: Oregon St.) scored 7 points, 10 rebounds and 7 assists.
