Regular Season Round 15: R8 Krakow - Enea Astoria 75-59

Everything went according to plan when fifth ranked R8 Krakow (9-4) beat at home 12th ranked Enea Astoria (5-9) 75-59. R8 Krakow players were unselfish on offense dishing 24 assists. It was a good game for point guard Marcin Nowakowski (184-89) who led his team to a victory with 8 points, 5 rebounds and 13 assists. Naturalized Bosnian power forward Seid Hajric (204-83) contributed with a double-double by scoring 11 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Center Lukasz Frackiewicz (205-96) answered with 10 points and 9 rebounds and Pawel Spica (190-93) added 9 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Enea Astoria. Both coaches used bench players and allowed the starting five to rest. Newly promoted R8 Krakow maintains fifth place with 9-4 record. Enea Astoria lost their fifth game in a row. They keep the twelfth position with nine games lost. R8 Krakow's next round opponent will be higher ranked Polfarmex (#4) in Kutno and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Enea Astoria will play at home against Sokol Lancut (#3) and hope to win that game.
