Regular Season Round 15: SKK Siedlce - Spojnia 93-96

Fourteenth-ranked SKK Siedlce (4-10) gave a tough game to leader Spojnia (14-0) on Saturday. The visitors from Stargard managed to secure only three-point victory 96-93. However their fans expected much easier game. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of SKK Siedlce. Spojnia looked well-organized offensively handing out 22 assists. It was a great evening for point guard Dawid Brek (187-89, agency: Promotex) who led his team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 10 assists. Guard Marcin Dymala (187-90) helped adding 15 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. The best for the losing side was center Rafal Rajewicz (204-88, agency: Promotex) with 15 points, 9 rebounds and 5 assists and guard Rafal Sobilo (188-89) scored 21 points. Four Spojnia and five SKK Siedlce players scored in double figures. Spojnia have an impressive series of fourteen victories in a row. They maintain first place with 14-0 record. SKK Siedlce at the other side keeps the fourteenth position with ten games lost. Spojnia are looking forward to face GKS Tychy (#7) at home in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. SKK Siedlce will play against Notec Inowr. (#16) in Inowroclaw and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
