The game in was also quite interesting. 5th ranked Kastoria (5-4) played at the court of eighth ranked Ermis Agias (5-4). Ermis Agias did not have too big problems and got a relatively easy victory 77-58 on Saturday. It ended at the same time the three-game winning streak of Kastoria. The hosts trailed by 1 point after first quarter, but they stormed back to get the 16-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 77-58. Power forward Nikos Kalles (211-87) stepped up and scored 14 points and 9 rebounds for the winners and forward Dimitris Lolas (203-86) chipped in 9 points, 11 rebounds and 4 assists. The best for the losing side was guard Nikos Kaklamanos (189-81) with 16 points and 4 assists and forward Giorgos Brozos (198-86, college: Furman) scored 11 points and 7 rebounds. Kastoria's coach Giorgos Soulios rotated eleven players seeing no chance for a win. Ermis Agias moved-up to sixth place, which they share with 3 other teams including defeated Kastoria. Ermis Agias will meet higher ranked Amyntas Dafnis (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Kastoria will play against Karditsas and hope to secure a win.
