Regular Season Round 11: Xinjiang - Shanghai 81-79

Important game to mention about took place in Urumqi. Fifth ranked Xinjiang (7-4) saved a 2-point victory at home edging second-ranked Shanghai Dahua (8-3) 81-79 on Saturday evening. It was a great evening for American center Tina Charles (193-88, college: Connecticut) who led her team to a victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points, 17 rebounds and 8 assists. Guard Lee Wang (170-92) helped adding 20 points. American forward Breanna Stewart (193-94, college: Connecticut) responded with a double-double by scoring 28 points, 13 rebounds and 4 assists and ShiChing Peng scored 20 points and 6 assists. Xinjiang moved-up to third place, which they share with Guangdong and Shanxi XR. Shanghai Dahua at the other side keeps the second position with three games lost. Xinjiang will play against league's leader Beijing Great Wall at home in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Shanghai Dahua will play against Zhejiang Far East in Hangzhou and hopes to get back on the winning track.
