Regular Season Round 15: Sokol Lancut - Slask Wroclaw 66-59

Very expected game when 11th ranked Slask (6-9) was defeated on the road by third ranked Sokol Lancut (12-2) 66-59. Sokol Lancut outrebounded Slask 47-36 including 36 on the defensive glass. It was a good game for guard Marek Zywert (192-96) who led his team to a victory with 13 points and 9 rebounds. Power forward Rafal Kulikowski (205-85, agency: Promotex) contributed with a double-double by scoring 10 points and 12 rebounds for the winners. Point guard Jan Grzelinski (180-94, college: Canisius) answered with 13 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists and swingman Adrian Mroczek-Truskowski (195-85) added 12 points and 5 rebounds in the effort for Slask. Slask's coach rotated eleven players in this game, but that didn't help. The victory was the third consecutive win for Sokol Lancut. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Polonia Leszno. Newly promoted Slask keeps the eleventh position with nine games lost. Sokol Lancut's next round opponent will be Enea Astoria (#12) in Bydgoszcz and are hoping to win another game.
