No shocking result in a game when seventh ranked Nanterre (7-4) beat on the road 16th ranked Le Mans (2-9) 66-59 on Saturday. Center Jean-Marc Pansa (208-98) orchestrated the victory with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 12 rebounds. Guard Armand Mensah (182-99) contributed with 17 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. Nanterre's coach used a ten-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Forward Mel Esso-Essis (199-98) answered with 9 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists and forward Junior Zero (194-97) added 12 points and 6 rebounds in the effort for Le Mans. Nanterre moved-up to fifth place, which they share with Bourg. Le Mans lost their third game in a row. They dropped to the fifteenth position with nine games lost. Nanterre will face ES Chalonnais (#8) at home in the next round. Le Mans will play against Limoges (#9) and hope to win that game.
