Regular Season Round 12: TS Ostrovia - Enea AZS P. 75-79

We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Ostrow Wlkp. where 9th ranked TS Ostrovia (3-8) was defeated by tenth ranked Enea AZS P. (3-7) 79-75 on Saturday. The guests trailed by 5 points after first quarter, but they rallied back to get the 2-point lead at the halftime and eventually won the game 79-75. Enea AZS P. made 19-of-23 free shots (82.6 percent) during the game. Worth to mention a great performance of American guard Jazmine Davis (170-93, college: Washington, agency: LBM Management) who helped to win the game recording 26 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and Ukrainian forward Kateryna Rymarenko (187-90) who added 19 points during the contest. The best for the losing side was American point guard Jordan Jones (168-93, college: Texas A&M) with 20 points, 6 rebounds, 7 assists and 4 steals and Katarzyna Motyl (173-87, agency: Promotex) scored 19 points. Four TS Ostrovia players scored in double figures. Enea AZS P. have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to ninth place. TS Ostrovia lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with eight games lost. Enea AZS P. will face higher ranked CCC Polkowice (#5) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. TS Ostrovia will play against AZS UMCS (#4) in Lublin and hope to win that game.
