Regular Season Round 12: Sleza Wroclaw - Artego Bydg. 58-52

The game between Top Four teams took place in Wroclaw. Third ranked host Sleza Wroclaw (9-2) defeated second-best Artego Bydg. (9-2) 58-52. The hosts took control from the first minutes by winning the initial quarter 23-17. But Artego Bydg. won second period 10-9. However it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. The winners were led by American point guard Sharnee Zoll-Norman (170-86, college: Virginia) who scored that evening 10 points, 7 rebounds and 8 assists and Dutch Kourtney Treffers (187-94, agency: Court Side) supported her with 13 points and 5 rebounds. Sleza Wroclaw's coach allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. Even 20 points, 8 rebounds and 6 assists by international point guard Julie McBride (163-82, college: Syracuse) did not help to save the game for Artego Bydg.. American forward Denesha Stallworth (191-92, college: Kentucky, agency: LBM Management) added 8 points and 5 rebounds. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with defeated Artego Bydg. Sleza Wroclaw will play against league's leader Wisla Krakow on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Artego Bydg. will play against MKK Siedlce and hopes to get back on the winning track.
