The game in Brest supposed to be also quite interesting. Fourth ranked Gorizont (7-5) played at the court of 6th ranked BrGU COR Victoria (2-10). Gorizont smashed BrGU COR Victoria 104-45 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Gorizont. BrGU COR Victoria managed to win fourth quarter 18-16. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. They dominated on the defensive end, holding BrGU COR Victoria to just 4 points in second quarter. Gorizont held BrGU COR Victoria to an opponent 21.3 percent shooting from the field compared to 56.4 percent accuracy of the winners. Gorizont forced 19 BrGU COR Victoria turnovers and outrebounded them 55-30 including a 40-15 advantage in defensive rebounds. Gorizont looked well-organized offensively handing out 41 assists comparing to just 16 passes made by BrGU COR Victoria's players. The winners were led by forward Natallia Harbachova (178-99) who scored that evening 22 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists (on 10-of-13 shooting from the field) and Russian center Anna Nuzhnaya (194-92) supported her with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Gorizont moved-up to third place, which they share with Gomel-Sozh. BrGU COR Victoria lost eighth consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with ten games lost. Gorizont will meet Victoria (#5) in the next round. BrGU COR Victoria will have a break next round.
