No shocking result in a game when fifth ranked Froya Basket (8-8) beat on the road 9th ranked Tromso (6-10) 91-79 on Sunday. The game without a history. Froya Basket led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They made 21-of-22 free shots (95.5 percent) during the game. It was an exceptional evening for guard Arne Ingebrigtsen (197-90, college: Cuesta JC) who led the winners and scored 26 points and 8 rebounds. Guard Nikolas Skouen (190-90, college: Pepperdine, agency: Duran International) accounted for 25 points and 5 rebounds for the winning side. American forward Shawntez Patterson (201-90, college: Alabama St.) came up with 19 points and 8 rebounds and guard Johannes Lange (179-98) added 13 points and 6 assists respectively for Tromso in the defeat. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Froya Basket maintains fifth place with 8-8 record. Loser Tromso dropped to the seventh position with ten games lost. They share it with Ammerud Bskt and Baerum Basket. Froya Basket will meet higher ranked Gimle BBK (#4) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tromso will have a break next round.
