Regular Season Round 14: Jiangsu TX MK - Jiangsu D. 91-107

Very expected game when 11th ranked Monkey Kings (7-7) were defeated at home by fourth ranked Jiangsu Dragons (11-3) 107-91. Jiangsu Dragons dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Monkey Kings' 46. Jiangsu Dragons forced 20 Monkey Kings turnovers. American swingman MarShon Brooks (196-89, college: Providence) notched 37 points (!!!), 6 rebounds and 4 assists to lead the effort and Serbian center Miroslav Raduljica (213-88) supported him with 24 points and 14 rebounds. Even a double-double of 35 points (!!!), 11 rebounds and 7 assists by American guard Dominique Jones (193-88, college: S.Florida) did not help to save the game for Monkey Kings. His fellow American import forward JJ Hickson (206-88, college: N.Carolina St.) added 11 points and 16 rebounds for the hosts. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Jiangsu Dragons keep a position of league leader, which they share with Liaoning FL and Shandong GS. Monkey Kings at the other side dropped to the tenth place with seven games lost. Jiangsu Dragons' next round opponent will be league's second-placed Golden Stars in Jinan and it will be for sure the game of the week. Monkey Kings will play on the road against Sharks (#12) in Shanghai and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
