Regular Season Round 3: NSH - Garuda 66-70

The game in Jakarta was also quite interesting. Garuda (2-0) played at the court of NSH (0-3). Garuda managed to secure a 4-point victory 70-66 on Sunday. Garuda looked well-organized offensively handing out 24 assists. It was an exceptional evening for American point guard Devin Matthews (189-92, college: Cent.Washington) who led the winners and scored 16 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Point guard Januar Kuntara (171-91) accounted for 17 points for the winning side. Four Garuda players scored in double figures. American guard Brachon Griffin (185-92, college: Elizabeth City, agency: SDJ Sports) came up with 33 points (!!!), 9 rebounds and 4 assists and swingman Muhamad El Islamy (186-91) added 5 points and 10 rebounds respectively for NSH in the defeat. Both coaches used bench players in such tough game.
