Serie A1 top team - Familia Schio (9-1) had no problems winning another game on Sunday. This time they crushed tenth ranked Battipaglia (1-9) 77-54. Familia Schio forced 19 Battipaglia turnovers. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 11 passes made by Battipaglia's players. Worth to mention a great performance of French center Isabelle Yacoubou (190-86) who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Slovakian power forward Zofia Hruscakova (190-95) contributed with 16 points for the winners. American guard Jori Davis (175-89, college: Indiana, agency: Two Points) replied with 24 points and 5 rebounds and swingman Marida Orazzo (173-94, agency: LBM Management) added 10 points and 6 assists in the effort for Battipaglia. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Familia Schio have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They maintain first position with 9-1 record. Battipaglia at the other side stay at the bottom place with nine games lost. Familia Schio are looking forward to face San Martino (#5) in San Martino di L in the next round.
