Very important is a road loss of third ranked Universidad Catolica (11-11) against fourth ranked Universidad de Concepcion (11-11) on Sunday night. Visiting Universidad Catolica was defeated by Universidad de Concepcion in Concepcion 87-75. Universidad de Concepcion shot the lights out from three sinking 12 long-distance shots on high 57.1 percentage. The best for the losing side was American guard Malik Morgan (193-94, college: Tulane) with a double-double by scoring 25 points and 10 rebounds and the other American import forward Aaron Nelson (203-91, college: S.Indiana) scored 23 points and 9 rebounds. Universidad de Concepcion moved-up to third place, which they share with CDU Catolica. Universidad de Concepcion will meet league's second-placed Deportivo Valdivia on the road in the next round and it will be for sure the game of the week. Universidad Catolica will play against AB Ancud and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
