Regular Season Round 11: Trelleborg - Hogsbo 93-91

Bottom-ranked Trelleborg managed to get a second victory, breaking the series of two consecutive losses. This time they edged fifth-ranked Hogsbo 93-91. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Hogsbo. It was an exceptional evening for American Justin Berry (198-88, college: Newman) who led the winners and scored 31 points and 5 rebounds. Guard Jordan-Gerami Lou (-97) accounted for 19 points and 6 assists for the winning side. The former international power forward Martin Ringstrom (206-81) came up with a double-double by scoring 18 points and 11 rebounds and forward Filip Sjostrom (200-90) added 22 points and 5 rebounds respectively for Hogsbo in the defeat. Four Trelleborg and five Hogsbo players scored in double figures. Trelleborg (2-9) moved-up to ninth place. Hogsbo at the other side keeps the fifth position with six games lost. Trelleborg will play against higher ranked Alvik Basket (#6) in Stockholm in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Hogsbo will play on the road against IK Eos in Lund and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
