Regular Season Round 13: Nardo - Teramo 76-78

Not a big story in a game when 11th ranked Nardo (5-8) was edged at home by eighth ranked Teramo (7-6) 78-76 on Sunday. Teramo made 21-of-27 free shots (77.8 percent) during the game. Strangely Nardo outrebounded Teramo 48-28 including a 15-3 advantage in offensive rebounds. Swingman Andrea LaGioia (193-86) stepped up and scored 19 points and 6 rebounds for the winners and power forward Giacomo Cicognani (205-92, agency: Players Group) chipped in 13 points and 5 rebounds. Five Teramo players scored in double figures. At the losing side naturalized Dominican guard Yancarlos-Jefferson Rodriguez (195-94) responded with 22 points and Federico Ingrosso (190-94) scored 13 points, 6 rebounds and 7 assists. Teramo moved-up to seventh place in B, which they share with Forli Tigers. Newly promoted Nardo keeps the eleventh position with eight games lost. Teramo will face Ortona (#16) at home in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Nardo will play against Giulianova (#10) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
