Regular Season Round 3: La Union - San Lorenzo 83-89

The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of La Union (1-1) in Formosa on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by San Lorenzo (5-0) 89-83. The best player for the winners was international forward Gabriel Deck (199-95) who scored 23 points. Cuban center Javier Justiz (205-92, agency: Pro Sports) chipped in a double-double by scoring 15 points and 13 rebounds. Five San Lorenzo players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was naturalized Italian swingman Anibal Marin (199-82) who recorded 26 points and 6 rebounds and the former international swingman Alexis Elsener (196-88) added 17 points and 6 rebounds respectively. San Lorenzo will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. La Union will play at home against Instituto (#2) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that the loss was just an accident.
