There was an upset in Logrono where higher ranked Magia Huesca (5-8) was defeated by seventeenth ranked Cocinas.com (4-9) 103-85 on Sunday. The game was mostly controlled by Cocinas.com. Magia Huesca was better in second period 23-22. But it was not enough to take a lead and get a victory that evening. Cocinas.com dominated down low during the game scoring 72 of its points in the paint compared to Magia Huesca's 46. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 25 assists comparing to just 12 passes made by Magia Huesca's players. American guard Tre Coggins (190, college: CS Fullerton) stepped up and scored 25 points for the winners and point guard Erik Quintela (184-91) chipped in 15 points, 7 assists and 4 steals. Cocinas.com's coach Jenaro Diaz used a ten-player rotation and allowed the starting five to rest. At the losing side Dutch forward Kevin van-Wijk (203-89, college: Valparaiso) responded with 21 points and 7 rebounds and guard Agustin Sans (195-95) scored 15 points and 4 assists. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. Cocinas.com maintains seventeenth place with 4-9 record. Loser Magia Huesca dropped to the twelfth position with eight games lost.
