Leopards' coach used a ten-player rotation in such tough game. Even a double-double of 26 points, 16 rebounds and 6 assists by international Zhelin Wang (214-94) did not help to save the game for Sturgeons. American point guard Russ Smith (183-91, college: Louisville) added 32 points, 8 rebounds and 7 assists for the guests. Four Leopards and five Sturgeons players scored in double figures. Leopards moved-up to seventh place, which they share with Beijing D. and Xinjiang FT. Sturgeons at the other side dropped to the fourteenth position with eight games lost. Leopards' next round opponent will be higher ranked Golden Bulls (#5) in Hangzhou and it may be quite challenging game.
