Regular Season Round 10: Otsuka A. - Tokyo Big Blue 107-63

Bottom-ranked Tokyo Big Blue is still unable to win any game. This time they lost on the road their eighth consecutive match to third ranked Otsuka A. (7-3) 107-63. Otsuka A. dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Tokyo Big Blue's 34. They outrebounded Tokyo Big Blue 55-25 including a 35-12 advantage in defensive rebounds. American forward Kyle Richardson (201-91, college: Portland St.) had a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and the other American import forward Ray Raymond (203-84, college: Wisconsin) chipped in 19 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. At the losing side point guard Kota Goto (176-94) responded with 16 points and forward Bryan Simpson (197-84) scored 11 points and 6 rebounds. Both teams had four players each who scored in double figures. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. Otsuka A. maintains third position with 7-3 record having just two point less than leader Saitama Bron. Tokyo Big Blue at the other side still closes the standings with eight games lost. Otsuka A. will play against Toyoda Gosei (#4) in Aichi in the next round. Tokyo Big Blue's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Tokyo Tokyo Excel..
