Maccabi Ashdod outscored guests from Hertzeliya 75-56. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Bnot Hertzeliya. Swingman Mariam Hannoun (178-94, college: Eckerd) added 12 points for lost side. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. Defending champion used an opportunity after Elitzur Holon lost their game and moved up joining them at the top position. Loser Bnot Hertzeliya keeps the seventh place with five games lost. Maccabi Ashdod will meet Ramat Hasharon (#5) on the road in the next round. Bnot Hertzeliya will play against Hap.Petah Tikva and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
