Important game to mention about took place in Jinan. Sixth ranked Heilongjiang (7-5) saved a 2-point victory on the road edging 8th ranked Shandong (5-7) 66-64 on Monday evening. The winners were led by American center Aneika Henry-Morello (193-86, college: Florida) who had that evening a double-double by scoring 24 points and 15 rebounds and the former international forward Jiahe Zhang (182-94) supported her with 18 points. Even a double-double of 21 points, 10 rebounds and 8 assists by guard Siyu Wang (175-95) did not help to save the game for Shandong. The former international power forward Xiao Ji (193-85) added 13 points. Four Shandong players scored in double figures. Heilongjiang maintains sixth position with 7-5 record. Shandong lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the ninth place with seven games lost. They share the position with Liaoning. Heilongjiang will play against Liaoning Hengye (#9) in Anshan in the next round. Shandong will play at home against Guangdong Dolphins and hopes to get back on the winning track.
