No shocking result in a game when second ranked Maccabi K/G (8-1) beat 12th ranked Hapoel Kfar Saba (2-7) in Kiryat Gat 90-72. They outrebounded Hapoel Kfar Saba 46-33 including 33 on the defensive glass. Maccabi K/G players were unselfish on offense dishing 21 assists. The best player for the winners was American-Azerbaijani forward Marshall Moses (198-89, college: Oklahoma St.) who had a double-double by scoring 15 points and 14 rebounds. Naturalized Polish point guard Nimrod Tishman (197-91, agency: Avi Zilberman) chipped in 14 points and 7 assists. Four Maccabi K/G players scored in double figures. Maccabi K/G's coach Roy Hagai allowed to play the deep bench players saving starting five for next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American power forward Dallis Joyner (203-90, college: Stony Brook) who recorded 21 points, 6 rebounds and 4 assists and the other American import guard Byron Wesley (196-92, college: Gonzaga, agency: Octagon Europe) added 18 points and 10 rebounds respectively. Maccabi K/G have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They keep a position of league leader, which they share with Macc.Rehovot. Hapoel Kfar Saba at the other side dropped to the eleventh place with seven games lost. Maccabi K/G's next round opponent will be Hapoel Galilee (#5) in Kazrin.
