Regular Season Round 9: Louaize - Tadamon 110-93

Bottom-ranked Tadamon (0-9) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their ninth consecutive match to eighth ranked Louaize (3-6) 110-93 on Tuesday evening. Louaize dominated down low during the game scoring 82 of its points in the paint compared to Tadamon's 40. They outrebounded Tadamon 45-34 including a 30-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. Louaize looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists. The best player for the winners was American forward Travis Franklin (200-88, college: Colorado St.) who had a double-double by scoring 37 points (!!!), 19 rebounds and 4 assists. Guard Jimmy Salem (190-95) chipped in 24 points and 4 assists (on 10-of-12 shooting from the field). Four Louaize players scored in double figures. Louaize's coach Marwan Khalil used an eleven-player rotation which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Patrick Rembert (185-89, college: Cal-Irvine) who recorded 42 points (!!!) and 4 assists (went 12 for 12 at the free throw line !!!) and forward Gerard Hadidian (201-95, college: Lake Land CC) added 17 points and 12 rebounds respectively. Louaize moved-up to seventh place, which they share with CS Antonins. Tadamon lost their ninth game in a row. They still close the standings with nine games lost. Louaize will meet at home league's second-placed Champville in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Tadamon will play against Byblos (#9) and hopes to get finally their first victory.
