Regular Season Round 10: Noorteliiga - TLU/Kalev 63-94

Date: December 12, 2017
The most interesting game was a derby match between two local teams from Tallinn: TLU/Kalev (#5) and Noorteliiga (#7). Noorteliiga was smashed at home by 31 points 63-94 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The game without a history. TLU/Kalev led from the first minutes and controlled entire game increasing their lead in each quarter. They dominated down low during the game scoring 64 of its points in the paint compared to Noorteliiga's 36. TLU/Kalev forced 23 Noorteliiga turnovers. American-DR Congolese center Bambale Osby (203-86, college: Maryland, agency: Octagon Europe) had a double-double by scoring 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead the charge for the winners and Senegalese center Bamba Fall (217-86, college: SMU) chipped in 13 points and 9 rebounds during the contest. Osby is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league in the market. Five TLU/Kalev players scored in double figures. At the losing side guard Leemet Loik (198-1) responded with 17 points and 5 rebounds and point guard Ron-Arnar Pehka (185-98) scored 14 points. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games. TLU/Kalev maintains fifth position with 5-6 record, which they share with Parnu. Noorteliiga at the other side still closes the standings with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
