Regular Season Round 12: Monaco - Le Portel 57-82

There was no surprise when 14th ranked Monaco (5-9) was outplayed at home by tenth ranked Le Portel (7-6) 82-57. Le Portel forced 34 Monaco turnovers. It was a good game for Cameroonian guard Samir Gbetkom-Bikantchou (191-98) who led his team to a victory with 16 points and 7 assists. Yaya Diaby contributed with 12 points and 8 rebounds for the winners. Four Le Portel players scored in double figures. Guard Anton Boisson (195-99) replied with 21 points and Boukhary Cissoko added 6 points and 7 rebounds in the effort for Monaco. Monaco's coach gave up on the game allowing to play twelve players seeing no chance for a win. Le Portel moved-up to eighth place. Monaco lost third consecutive game. They keep the fourteenth position with nine games lost. Le Portel will have a break next round. Monaco will play again at home against Le Portel (#8) and hope to win that game.
